Acting on feedback from our test day, (a great review of which can be found over at the PHARM blog), and some unexpected cost savings, we’ve decided to slash the price of the January ETM course. The new price for the course is $1999.00 (reduced from $2700.00). The course price includes 3 full days of action packed trauma education, including short, punchy lectures, small group interactive sessions, scenarios and procedure workshops. You also get our just-released 306-page course manual in iBook format. (For the anti-Apple amongst you, it also comes in pdf format!)
The manual alone is worth coming for. Compiled over 18 months with input from emergency medicine, trauma, critical care, rural GP, retrieval and radiology experts, with a strong practical focus, it contains digital images, videos and tonnes of links to Free Open Access Medical education (FOAMed) resources, giving you access to the latest, cutting edge trauma information. The iBook format allows you to highlight important sections and add notes directly into the manual. You can then create study flash-cards from your notes! You can even copy and paste text from the manual into other programs, and you can share content from the manual on Twitter, Facebook, and even via SMS! No other course has this breadth of content, functionality or interactivity in their manual.
No other 3-day intensive course is this cheap.
The course will be catered by the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (their food is amazing – ask anyone who was at the test day), there’s unlimited Nespresso, free Wifi and we actively encourage the use of social media throughout the course.
