This new resource has been launched to provide anyone interested in emergency toxicology a resource to learn more about the practical aspects of treating tox patients in the ED. It’s early days, but we plan over time to really boost the content so you can access a range of tox content for free, with much more premium Tox Course content featuring short video lectures, ACEM fellowship exam tips, written resources, references and short quizzes available at ETMOnline.com.
The first podcast episode is now up, with an interview with Clinical Toxicologist Dr Ingrid Berling and Emergency Physician Dr Nick Dafters (the co-creators and main presenters of the Tox Course at ETMOnline.com) who discuss the setup and function of Poisons Information Centres and Clinical Toxicology services around Australia. It’s a great insight into this often used, but somewhat hidden and misunderstood service! Check it out now:
